To celebrate Chinese New Year, the food PR team at Pier has been out and about with celebrity chef, author and TV personality Ken Hom talking Chinese banquets, New Year traditions and Ken’s range of Oriental meals at Tesco.

Acknowledged as one of the world’s leading experts on authentic Chinese and Asian cuisine Ken was also celebrating his 30th career anniversary as the nation’s best loved chef.

With a jam packed PR schedule, Pier organised back to back interviews between Ken and a host of media including; The Telegraph, Radio Times and Daily Mail as well as a full day’s schedule of broadcasting interviews.  Ken also took time out for live Facebook chats with his fans at GransNet and on his own page www.facebook.com/ChefKenHom.

The Pier team finished off the bumper week with Ken by securing a guest slot on Graham Norton’s BBC Radio Two show and accompanying him to James Martin’s Saturday Kitchen.
